I used the Under My Umbrella stamp set to create this elegant card. For this card I used a Gray Granite card base cut to 5-1/2 X 8-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4. I cut a Basic Gray card mat to 3-7/8 X 5-1/8. Then I cut out the scalloped oval out of the center of the Gray Granite mat (See Tips and Tricks below) using the Layering Ovals Dies. I cut a card front out of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper measuring 3-3/4 X 5. I cut Whisper White card stock to 4 X 5-1/4 for the liner and an oval for the sentiment.

I stamped the umbrella from The Under My Umbrella stamp set using Basic Gray Ink and punched it out using the Umbrella Builder Punch. I stamped the umbrella handle using Basic Grey ink on Basic Gray card stock and punched it our using the Umbrella Builder Punch. I stamped the sentiment on the left side of the Whisper White oval using Basic Gray Ink.

In the picture above, I am showing you how I adhered the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon to the back of the umbrella using Tear and Tape and Glue Dots. I then used Mini Dimensionals to adhere the umbrella to the Whisper White oval. (See Tips and Tricks below)
I adhered the card front to the Basic Gray card mat. I adhered a piece of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon across the front of the card. I adhered the scalloped oval to the Whisper White oval and then adhered the whole assembly to the card front. I adhered the card front to the card base. I finished the card by tying a short piece of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon to the ribbon on the front of the card. I added Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I also stamped the card liner and the envelope using Gray Granite Ink and adhered the liner to the inside of the card.

Tips and Tricks: I save paper by cutting pieces out of the mats for a card. I also use the edge of the dimensionals cut into strips for small areas like the umbrella handle.
