Under My Umbrella Card #2

I used the Under My Umbrella stamp set to create this colorful card. To make it I used Magenta Madness card stock cut to 5-1/2 X 8-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4. I used a Basic Black mat cut to 4 X 5-1/4 and a Whisper White card front cut to 3-7/8 X 5-1/8. I also used scraps from the 2020-2022 In Color and the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper packs for the umbrellas. I used scraps of Basic Black for the handles of the umbrellas. For the sentiment I used a 1/2 inch strip of Whisper White and a 3/4 inch strip of Basic Black card stock. Lastly I used a 4 X 5-1/4 piece of Whisper White card stock for the card liner.

I stamped the umbrellas from The Under My Umbrella stamp set using Memento Black ink and punched them out using the Umbrella Builder Punch. I also punched out 5 umbrella handles from Basic Black card stock.

I used Fine Tip Glue to attach the handles to the 4 closed umbrellas. I lined up the 4 colored umbrellas across the bottom of the card. I then adhered the 5th umbrella handle to the card front. I adhered the flowered umbrella to the front with Mini Dimensionals in the middle and Fine Tip Glue on the both sides. I then stamped the sentiment using Magenta Madness ink. I punched both the Whisper White Strip and the Basic Black strip using the Banners Pick A Punch. I attached it to the upper right side of the card front.

For the final assembly I adhered the card front to the Basic Black card mat. I tied a bow around the card using Magenta Madness In Color Ribbon. I adhered the card front assembly to the card base. I then stamped the envelope and card liner with raindrops using Magenta Madness ink and attached the liner to the inside of the card.

Tips and Tricks: Using dimensionals under the center of the umbrella and gluing the sides down gives it the illusion of it being round.
