I love the Flowing Flowers stamp set from the new spring catalog! I know there are many stamp sets with flowers but this stamp set has wonderful sentiments in a beautiful font, as well as lovely flowers.

Every once in a while, you need to just stamp! I made this card by pairing the Flowing Flowers stamp set with the Very Versailles stamp set.

I cut the pieces per the list above.

For the card front I stamped the vine and the print using Soft Succulent Ink. I added the large flower and some dots using Flirty Flamingo Ink. I stamped the small cluster of flowers and some dots using Highland Heather Ink. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment using Soft Succulent Ink.

I embossed the entire card front using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. I then mounted it to one of the Flirty Flamingo mats. I also stamped the corner of the liner and adhered it to the other Flirty Flamingo mat.

For the final assembly, I adhered the card front to the Soft Succulent card base. I added some Pastel Pearls to the card front. I adhered the liner to the inside of the card. I stamped the envelope too!

I love the Flowing Flowers stamp set from the new spring catalog! I know there are many stamp sets with flowers but this stamp set has wonderful sentiments in a beautiful font, as well as lovely flowers.

I cut the pieces per the list above.

I cut 2 rectangles of Basic White Card Stock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I cut one 2-1/4 inch circle of Basic White Card Stock using the Layering Circles Dies.

I turned the rectangular die cuts over and taped them together using washi tape.

I stamped the small flower all over the two die cuts using Fresh Freesia Ink.

I carefully removed the washi tape. On the circle, I stamped the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the flowers using Fresh Freesia Ink.

I love the Flowing Flowers stamp set from the new spring catalog! I know there are many stamp sets with flowers but this stamp set has wonderful sentiments in a beautiful font, as well as lovely flowers.

I cut the pieces per the list above.

I punched the ends of the sentiment strip and the sentiment mat using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

I tore the edges of the scrap of Basic White Card Stock and taped it diagonally as shown to the card front. I taped it from the back so I could stamp the front without stamping on the tape.

I stamped the two flower stamps using Blushing Bride and Poppy Parade Ink. I masked off the leaves so they would not be pink and then stamped them in Soft Succulent Ink. I also added some dots using Soft Succulent Ink. I carefully removed the scrap of torn paper. Then I stamped the sentiment on the strip of Basic White Card Stock using Poppy Parade Ink.

For the final assembly, I adhered the card front to the Poppy Parade mat and then to the Blushing Bride card. I then adhered the sentiment to the sentiment mat and cut them off at about 3-1/4 inches. I used Dimensionals to adhere them to the card front. I colored some Basic Pearls using a Dark Poppy Parade Stampin Blends Marker and adhered them to the card front. Lastly, adhere the liner to the inside of the card.

I love the Flowing Flowers stamp set from the new spring catalog! I know there are many stamp sets with flowers but this stamp set has wonderful sentiments in a beautiful font, as well as lovely flowers.

I cut the pieces per the list above.

I adhered the smaller piece of Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series paper to the front of the card, then I adhered the other piece to the inside of the card.

I stamped the flower on the small piece of Basic White Card Stock using Flirty Flamingo ink. I then stamped the sentiment using Memento Black Ink. I stamped the leaves next to the flower using Soft Sea Foam Ink. See the Tips and Tricks section on the bottom of this post for how to only get the leaves to stamp.

I adhered the small stamped piece to the Flirty Flamingo mat. I then adhered that assembly to the smaller card. NOTE: This smaller card will open backwards! The fold will be on the right!

I adhered the small card inside the larger card. The large card will have the fold on the left and the small card will have the fold on the right.

To finish the card, I added a Bumble Bee Trinket to the card front using Glue Dots. The edge of the bee will just hold the edge of the card front closed.

Tips and Tricks: For this card, I wanted to use the leaves from one stamp with the flower from another stamp. There are many ways to achieve this effect. I stamped the flower using Flirty Flamingo Ink. I inked the leaves of the other stamp with Soft Sea Foam Ink. I then used a baby wipe to carefully wipe off the ink from areas that I didn’t want to stamp (everything but the leaves). As an alternative, you could use a sponge dauber to ink only the leaves.

I am loving this Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set. It can be yours free with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-bration. I used the Artistically Inked stamp set for the sentiment. Most card makers don’t think of heat embossing when they are trying to make quick cards but I made it work!

I cut the pieces per the list above.

I set up my Stamparatus as shown. I stamped the dahlia and the sentiment using VersaMark on the Basic Black Card Stock pieces and used White Embossing Powder to heat emboss them. I used Black Embossing Powder to emboss the dahlia on the Basic White Card Stock. Make sure to line up the paper in the exact same place in the Stamparatus.

Once all of the pieces are embossed, cut the black and white card fronts in half (2 inches). I trimmed the sentiment pieces as shown too.

Match the black and white card front together as shown. Tape them from the back butting the pieces together tightly.

For the final assembly, I adhered the card fronts to the card bodies. I used Dimensionals to adhered the sentiment piece to the card front. I added Pearls to the black part of the card and Matte Black Dots to the white part of the card front.

Done! Two cards finished in 20 minutes!
