The Friendly Flamingo Bundle is just fabulous! I used blending brushes to make a totally different look!
- Paper Cuts–
- Thick Basic White Card Stock: 8-1/2 X 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
- Basic White Card Stock: 4 X 5-1/4
- Basic Black Card Stock: 4 X 2 and scraps for flamingo and vines
- Daffodil Delight Card Stock: 2-3/4 X 2-3/4
- Pumpkin Pie Card Stock: 4 X 1-1/4
I cut the pieces per the list above.

I used the Flamingo Dies to cut the vines, flamingo and wing out of the Basic Black Card Stock. I tore the edge of the Basic Black piece as shown. I also tore the edge of the Pumpkin Pie Card Stock. I then cut a circle out of the Daffodil Delight Card Stock using the Layered Circle Dies.

For the background on the card front, I adhered the Pumpkin Pie piece to the card front using the Basic Black piece as a guide. If you leave a little bit of white showing it will look like the refection of the sunset on the water. DO NOT ADHERE THE BASIC BLACK PIECE NOW!

I used a Blending Brush to apply Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze Ink to the card front as shown. If a darker sunset is desired, use a little Real Red Ink.

I adhered the Basic Black piece to the bottom of the card. I adhered the Daffodil Delight Circle to the card front. I adhered the flamingo using Fine Tip Glue on top of the sun. I then adhered the vines around the flamingo using Fine Tip Glue.
Using Mini Dimensionals, I adhered the wing to the flamingo. To finish the card, I adhered the entire assembly to the Thick Basic White card base.
Tips and Tricks: Using Blending Brushes has a learning curve. After you pick up the ink from the ink pad, brush the brush on a scrap piece of paper for a better blending. You can start of the paper and blend toward the center of the card front.
