The Hydrangea Hill Suite is so beautiful! I used a piece of the border printed designer series paper to make this simple card. I embossed the sentiment to “step it up” a bit.
- Paper Cuts–
- Highland Heather Card Stock: 4 X 5-1/4
- Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper: 3-3/4 X 5
- Basic White Card Stock: 4 X 5-1/4
- Rococo Rose Card Stock: 5-1/2 X 8-1/2
I cut the pieces per the list above.
I put the designer series paper in the Stamparatus and held it down with magnets.
I put the sentiment stamp on the paper where I wanted it. I closed the plate onto the stamp to pick it up.
I inked the stamp with Gorgeous Grape Ink and stamped the paper. I cleaned the stamp. I then inked the stamp with Versamark and stamped it over the original sentiment. I used Clear Embossing Powder to emboss it.
I adhered the card front to the mat. I tied a bow with Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around the card.
I used dimensionals to adhere the card front to the Rococo Rose card. I added Pastel Pearls to the card front. Don’t forget to stamp your envelope!
Tips and Tricks: You can use the above technique to emboss in any color ink. If you do not have a Stamparatus, ink the stamp with Versamark and then the ink color and then stamp the paper with it. Use clear embossing powder to show off the colored ink!
