Timeless Tulips Card #3

The Timeless Tulips Stamp Set is a great way to bring in spring! I love a this simple stamping technique that I used to make this card.

I cut out the pieces per the list above. For the card front, I used my Paper Trimmer to put a pencil line on the paper to use as a guide. I put my line at 1-3/4 from the top.

I used strips of washi tape on either side of the pencil line. This gave me an area above and below the tape to stamp. I stamped the tulips using Gorgeous Grape Ink and the leaves using Granny Apple Green Ink above and below the tape. Make sure your stamps do not go into the other side when stamping. When you are done stamping, carefully remove the washi tape. It will be full of ink that may not be dry. I then used a Water Painter to splatter Gorgeous Grape Ink on the card.

I heat embossed the sentiment on the Gorgeous Grape strip using White Embossing Powder. I punched the end of the sentiment strip using the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.

For the final assembly, I cut the Highland Heather strip so that it just covers the edge of the stamped tulips. I added the sentiment using Dimensionals. I added three Pastel Pearls to the card front. I adhered the card front to the card. I stamped the liner and adhered it to the inside of the card. I also stamped the envelope.
