The Dandy Garden Suite is so versatile! I used the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set to make these cards.
- Paper Cuts–
- Basic White Card Stock: 4 X 5-1/4 (2 each) and scraps for the dragonfly
- Basic Black Card Stock: 11 X 4-1/4 scored at 5-1/2
- Watercolor Paper: 2 X 5-1/4

Cut pieces per list above. Use the block watercolor technique from Beautiful World Card #2 to color the watercolor paper. I used Pretty Peacock, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana inks. At this point you can decide if you would like to emboss the flowers on the watercolor. Make sure it is fully dry before you emboss!
I stamped the sentiment on the lower right corner of one of the pieces of Basic White Card Stock using Memento Ink. This stamp is from the Here’s a Card Stamp Set.
I stamped the dragonfly using Memento Ink and punched it out using the Dragonflies Punch. I made it sparkly using a Wink of Stella pen. I put a small amount of ink on a block. I then used Wink of Stella to pick up ink from the block and color the dragonfly. Clean off any ink from the tip when you are finished.
I adhered the watercolor paper to the left side of the cards front. I used the a lot of adhesive since my watercolor paper was a bit wavy.

To make the dragonfly look 3D I put small pieces of dimensionals on the wings as shown. I then used Fine Tip Glue to glue the body and the edge of the wings to the card front. I then adhered the card front to the Basic Black card. I added Matte Black Dots to the front of the card. Finally, I adhered the liner to the inside of the card.
These are great cards
