The Sweet Ice Cream suite is so much fun to create with! I made this simple card using a cute pocket idea.
- Paper Cuts–
- Blackberry Bliss Card Stock: 6 X 8-1/2 cut per the diagram below
- Basic White Card Stock: 5-1/2 X 3-7/8 and scraps for ice cream scoop, cone and sentiment
- Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper: Oval

Cut and score the 6 X 8-1/2 piece of Blackberry Bliss Card Stock per the diagram above. For the 3/4 inch punched finger grip area I punched one side and then folder the card. I then used a pencil to mark its location on the other side of the card. I lined up the punch with that pencil outline and punched it.

I stamped and punched the ice cream scoop and cone. I used Blackberry Bliss Ink for the Ice cream and Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso for the cone. I used the Layering Ovals Dies to cut the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper. I used the 3-1/4 X 2-1/4 scalloped oval.

I used the 2-3/8 X 3-3/8 Layering Ovals Die to cut the oval in the Blackberry Bliss Card as per picture above.
To assemble the card pocket I use Tear and Tape on the card flaps to seal them closed.
I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White card stock using Blackberry Bliss Ink. I then “balloon” cut it out.
For the final assembly, I put the Basic White card in the card pocket. I adhered the Oval of Designer Series Paper in the center of the oval hole cut in the Blackberry Bliss Card pocket. I adhere the ice cream scoop and cone to the oval. Lastly I adhered the sentiment across the bottom of the oval hole. Be careful to not adhere it to the inside card. Don’t forget to decorate the envelope.
