Snowflake Wishes Card #7

The Snowflake Wishes stamp set is one of my favorite stamp sets! I paired if with the Fight of Fancy stamp set to make a Christmas card for a little girl. For this card I used a piece of Highland Heather card stock cut to 5-1/2 X 8-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4. I cut a 4 X 5-1/4 piece of Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper. I also cut a 1 X 5-1/4 piece of Highland Heather card stock. For the sentiment and the angel, I used a piece of Whisper White card stock as well as the 4 X 5-1/4 liner.

Using Highland Heather ink I stamped the Snowflake Splendor paper with Snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set. I then used Shimmery Crystal Effects to add shimmer. Wink of Stella could be used instead of the Shimmery Crystal Effects. I also stamped the liner with snowflakes.

I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White card stock using Highland Heather ink and cut it out using a Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped the angel from the Flight of Fancy stamp set using Memento Ink on Whisper White card stock. I colored the angel using Light Daffodil Delight, Light Pool Party, and Light Highland Heather Blends Markers. I used Wink of Stella to highlight the angels wings and hair.

To assemble the card front, I adhered the strip of Highland Heather to the Snowflake Splendor paper. I tied a bow around the card using Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon. I adhered the angel to the sentiment and then attached it to the card using Dimensionals.

For the final assembly, I adhered the card front to the card base. I adhered the liner to the inside of the card. Don’t forget to stamp the envelope!

Tips and Tricks: Add Wink of Stella for shine! Cards for little girls can’t have too much shine!
