The Snowflake Wishes stamp set is a fantastic set! For this card I used Highland Heather card stock cut to 5-5/2 X8-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4 for the card base. I also used a strip of Highland Heather cards stock cut to 1 X 4. I used a 4 X 5-1/4 piece of Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper as my background and topped it with a 4 X 5-1/4 piece of vellum overlay. For the card liner I used Whisper White card stock cut to 4 X 5-1/4. For the sentiment I also used Whisper White card stock. I added Silver Foil snowflakes and Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to top it off.
I stamped the Snowflake Spendor designer series paper with snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set using Highland Heather ink. I embossed the vellum using the Winter Snow embossing folder.
I adhered the vellum to the designer series paper using Glue Dots. I then adhered the Highland Heather strip to the card front. I tied a bow around the card using Snowflake Splendor Ribbon. I cut one snow flake out of silver foil using the So Many Snowflakes Dies. I stamped the sentiment using Highland Heather ink and cut it our using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using dimensionals and added the snowflake also using dimensionals. To finish the card I added Blue Adhesive Backed Gems. Don’t forget to stamp the liner on the inside of the card as well as the envelope.
Tips and Tricks: When adhering the vellum to the designer series paper, put the glue dotes where the snowflakes are embossed. This will keep them from showing!
