Peaceful Nativity #5

For this card I used the Peaceful Nativity and the For Unto Us stamp sets. I cut Night of Navy card stock to 3-3/4 X 5 and 5-1/2 X 8-1/2 score at 4-1/4. I also cut Silver Foil to 3-7/8 X 5-1/8. I used a scrap of Night of Navy to stamp and die cut the nativity scene. The card liner is Whisper White card stock cut to 4 X 5-1/4.

First, I embossed the nativity scene on Night of Navy card stock using Silver Embossing Powder and die cut it out using the Layering Circles Dies. I also embossed the sentiment from the For Unto Us stamp set in the upper left of the Night of Navy piece as well.

I cut the scalloped silver circle out of the silver mat. Since the hole in the mat will be covered by the navy layer, this saves paper.

I adhered the navy pieces on to the silver mats. I adhered the nativity scene onto the card front using Dimensionals. I then adhered the entire assembly to the navy card base. I added silver Metallic Pearls to finish the card front. To finish the card, I adhered the liner to the inside of the card.

Tips and Tricks: Be careful cutting foil since it can get marks on it very easily. I keep a new cutting plate so that I can use it on top of the foil when putting it through my cutting machine.
