Gift Card Holder #1

Like many of you, I plan on giving a lot of gift cards this year. This card uses a separate piece of paper for the front that is scored and folded to make a pocket for the gift card. The Merry Moose stamp set and plaid paper gives it a warm, “homey” feel. I thought I had finished the card but my daughter told me it needed some snow so I added Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. Thanks Jayda for the idea!

The piece on the right is the back of the card. The piece on the left is the flap that become the front of the card. Fold the front at the dotted lines. The 2 inch flap becomes the gift card holder. Use Tear & Tape on the outside edges to hold it closed. The 1 inch flap gets attached to the center of the card back. I used a whisper white liner with 1X4 inch strips of designer series paper for the sides. Decorate the front flap of the card as you like. I used a 3-1/4X4 piece of whisper white card stock stamped with the Merry Moose stamp set. I added a stamped and punched moose.
